Privacy policy
CH Connect is the scheduling tool Content Hacker (CH Media Inc.) runs at book.contenthacker.co, so you can book a call with our team without the email back-and-forth. This page explains what we collect when you use it, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect when you book a call
Your name, email address, and timezone, so the booking works and confirmations reach you at times that make sense where you are. If you add optional details, we store those too: notes you type, a phone number when you pick a phone call, and the email addresses of any colleagues you add as guests. Guests receive the calendar invite and booking emails for that meeting.
We also keep the booking itself: which call type, when, and the meeting location you chose. That record is what powers your confirmation email, reminders, and the reschedule and cancel links.
Team accounts
Accounts on CH Connect are for the Content Hacker team, by invitation. For team members we store a name, email, username, timezone, an optional photo, and a password (kept only as a secure hash, never as the password itself).
A team member can connect Google Calendar and Zoom. The Google connection is used for two things only: checking free and busy times so nobody gets double-booked, and creating or removing the calendar events for bookings made here. The Zoom connection is used only to create the meeting link for Zoom bookings.
What we don't do
No ads, no analytics scripts, no trackers, and no selling or renting your data to anyone. Booking a call sets no cookies at all; the only cookie on this site is the sign-in cookie for our own team accounts.
IP addresses pass through short-lived abuse-prevention checks (rate limits) and routine server logs, and age out of both automatically.
Emails we send
Booking confirmations, reminders, reschedule and cancellation notices, and team invitations. That's the full list. CH Connect sends no marketing email, and adding a guest to a booking subscribes them to nothing.
Who processes data for us
A few services run CH Connect under the hood, and each one receives only what it needs to do its job: Vercel (hosting, Singapore region), Neon (database, Singapore region), Resend (email delivery), Google (calendar sync and Google Meet links), and Zoom (Zoom meeting links).
How long we keep it
Bookings stay on record so reminders, reschedules, and meeting history keep working. We keep routine database backups, retaining the most recent copies. Want your personal data removed? Email us at agency@contenthacker.co and we'll delete it, unless a legal or accounting obligation requires us to keep a record.
Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) you can ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to how it's used. Email agency@contenthacker.co and we'll get back to you within a few business days.
